Nikhil Kamat will invest  100 crore in Nazara Technology: Due to this news, the company’s shares increased by 10% and closed at Rs 837.

Shares of mobile gaming and sports media company Nazara Technology saw a rise of 10% on Monday (September 4). Shares of Nazara Tech closed at Rs 837, up by Rs 77.45 or 10.20%. In fact, Nikhil Kamat, co-founder of brokerage firm Zerodha, will invest Rs 100 crore in Najara Tech.

Nazara Technologies shares hit 52-week high

Nazara Technology has given this information in a stock exchange filing. Since this news came to the fore, there has been a spurt in the share of Najara. On the other hand, during the trading, the share of Nazara Technology made its new 52-week high of Rs 854 with a gain of 12%. This stock has given 16.22% return in last 5 days, 22.29% in 1 month and 58.45% in 6 months.

This investment in Nikhil Kamat’s view will be through preferential allotment

According to reports, this investment in Nikhil Kamat’s Nazara will be through preferential allotment. Najara’s board has also approved the issue of 1.4 million equity shares, or 1.4 million, for Rs 100 crore to Kamath Associates and NK-Squared. These Equity Shares will be locked-in for a period of 6 months from the date of issue.
