There is good news for the people of Noida. Lulu hyper mall will now open in Noida also. Lulu Group has announced this. The group is all set to open small-scale retail malls in five more cities in a phased manner. This decision has been taken after realizing the development potential in the regional centers of Uttar Pradesh. According to IANS news, senior company officials said that Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Jhansi have been shortlisted for further expansion of retail business in the state.
Mall will open in Noida on 14 to 15 acres
According to the news, Noida has been chosen as the destination where another mall (Lulu hyper mall) spread over an area of 14 to 15 acres is going to be built. Lulu Group does business in many sectors including retail, food processing. The group is also considering setting up satellite stores at more locations in Lucknow to cater to the needs of more consumers. Lulu Director Jaya Kumar Gangadharan said that we are considering the idea of setting up more hypermarket stores within Lucknow.
More customers will come this season
Gangadharan said the business and daily footfall during the upcoming festive season is expected to grow by 30 per cent compared to the previous season. He said that during the last season, the number of daily visitors to the mall (Lulu hyper mall) was between 25,000 to 35,000. Noman Aziz Khan, general manager of the hypermarket in Lucknow, revealed that ready-to-eat foods, especially the chaat counter, attract visitors the most.
