New Delhi: Troubled domestic airline Akasa Air has temporarily canceled its flights from Bengaluru to Chennai and Hyderabad due to operational reasons. Cancellation of flights has increased the difficulties of those air passengers who had already booked flight tickets. At the same time, there is a possibility of cancellation of flights for many other cities also.

According to TOI report, Akasa Airlines, which is facing fund crisis, has announced cancellation of flights to two cities. Due to the sudden suspension of the flight, those passengers who had already purchased tickets have become upset. Passengers are waiting for refund. The report said that the airline may cancel air services from Bengaluru and many other cities in the coming days.

Air passengers of Akasa Airlines expressed their anger over the delay in getting full refund and cancellation of flights through social media. Despite the airline starting the refund process, the cancellation charges have been reduced, due to which dissatisfaction and disappointment was seen among the customers.

Sources at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) have confirmed that the Akasa Air flight from Bengaluru to Hyderabad was suddenly suspended several weeks ago even though many passengers had already booked tickets for the route. . Apart from the Bengaluru-Hyderabad route, Akasa Air has also suspended its flights between Bengaluru and Chennai.

An Akasa Air ground employee at Kempegowda International Airport told TOI that we have been informed that operational constraints are the reason behind the suspension of flights. At present we are not operating flights between Bengaluru-Hyderabad, Bengaluru-Chennai. Whereas, the airline is also facing problems on the Bengaluru-Kochi route.
