Momentum 2.0 App: Do shopping while traveling in Delhi Metro, keep goods in locker, new app launched
Delhi Metro Shopping App: Now you can do shopping along with traveling in Delhi Metro. For the convenience of passengers, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced an app named Momentum 2.0. Through this, QR code based tickets can be taken. E-shopping will be done. The smart card will be recharged. Also, your groceries will be delivered at 50 metro stations and digital locker will also be accessible. DMRC claims that for the first time in the country such a platform has been launched for any metro service.
Luggage can be kept in lockers at 50 stations.
According to PTI report, with the help of Momentum 2.0 app, digital locker (smart box) facility will be provided at 50 stations of the metro. If you are not at home and want to buy any important item, then you can buy it and keep it in the locker of the metro. The special thing is that the locker can also be booked through the app itself. The locker will open only when you enter the PIN in your phone.
How much will the locker be booked for?
According to the report, booking of the locker will depend on its size. For this you will have to pay Rs 20, 30 and 40 per hour. Lock can be booked for maximum 6 hours.
Service is available at these stations
DMRC started this service at Shivaji Stadium metro station on Wednesday. This facility has currently been launched at 50 metro stations like Rajiv Chowk, Millennium City Center Gurugram, Dwarka Sector-10, Supreme Court, Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Stand), Dilshad Garden, Noida City Centre, Anand Vihar and Sarita Vihar.
Metro card will also be recharged
QR code based tickets can be booked through Momentum 2.0 app. Metro smart card will also be recharged. However the card will have to be connected to the app. The special thing is that if the app is connected to your bank account, the metro card will be recharged automatically. As far as e-shopping is concerned, Metro has tied up with a store. Groceries and other items can be purchased through the app. The goods will be delivered at metro stations. Currently this facility is being started at 20 stations. It will expand gradually. According to the information, with the help of the app the goods will also be couriered.
