HFCL gets tender worth Rs 1127 crore from BSNL, there will be changes in infrastructure
Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited i.e. HFCL Limited (HFCL) has received a tender (contract) worth Rs 1,127 crore from the public sector telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). According to language news, under this tender, work will be done to replace the optical transport network (OTN) infrastructure of the all India network of the public sector telecom company.
Strategic Partnership with Nokia Networks
According to the news, according to the press release issued by Gurugram-based company HFCL, the company has received a contract worth Rs 1,127 crore to replace the optical transport network of BSNL. It also said that leveraging its superior expertise in integrating complex systems, HFCL has entered into a strategic partnership with Nokia Networks to deploy highly advanced optical technology.
Companies will provide state-of-the-art solutions
In a release issued by the company, it was said that the partnership between the two companies underlines the commitment to provide state-of-the-art solutions. This technological excellence redefines the parameters of the network. HFCL Limited is an Indian technology company. It designs, develops and manufactures telecommunication equipment, fiber-optic cables and other related electronics devices. The company is listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange.
BSNL will also introduce 5G
Like private telecom companies, BSNL is also working on launching 5G service. After June this year, BSNL’s focus will be on 5G services. After that the company will prepare to launch it. The company has sufficient spectrum available for 5G network. Earlier, TCS and public sector ITI have received orders worth Rs 19,000 crore from BSNL. The government telecom company is laying great emphasis on improving its infra.
