Incorrect pictures of Gemini AI angered users: Google CEO Pichai told employees – This is unacceptable, no AI is perfect
Google’s Gemini AI has angered users by generating images and text that tell false history. This is completely unacceptable. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has said this in an internal memo sent to his employees.
Earlier this month, Google launched the feature of generating images through Gemini AI. In this, users can generate images by writing prompts. However, some users had expressed their displeasure on social media regarding the images and answers generated by this tool.
Gemini shows Asian woman in German Army uniform
When a user asked Gemini to generate an image of a German soldier from 1943, the tool generated an image of an Asian woman in German Army uniform. Similarly, the tool had also generated wrong photographs of a medieval British king and an 18th century French king.
AI rated both Musk and Hitler memes as negative
This controversy regarding Gemini increased further when the text based user query of this AI tool went viral on social media. In this query, the user had asked Gemini – Whose memes have had a more negative impact on the society, Adolf Hitler or Elon Musk.
Gemini replied, ‘It is difficult to say with certainty who has had a greater negative impact on society, Elon Musk or Hitler, because both have had a negative impact in different ways.’
