New Delhi: The world’s largest clean energy park is being built in Gujarat. It will be five times bigger in size than Paris. It will be so big that it will be visible even from space. This plant will generate so much electricity that it can run the whole of Switzerland. Adani Group is setting up the world’s largest green energy park (World Biggest Clean Energy Plant) in the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. This park will cover a huge area of about 726 square kilometers. With this, about 30 GW of electricity will be produced for more than two crore houses. Adani Green Energy Ltd. is building a massive solar and wind power plant in the western Indian state of Gujarat at a cost of about $20 billion. It will be the world’s largest renewable energy park when completed in about five years. The success of this renewable energy park is critical for India to reduce pollution levels and achieve climate goals as well as meet the growing energy needs of the world’s most populous country and fastest growing major economy. Coal still accounts for 70% of the electricity produced by India.

Plant being built here

The area where this plant is being built in Gujarat is a very large area. This is an area where there is no wildlife, no vegetation, no habitat. According to Adani Group, there is no better alternative use of this land. Despite the company’s huge decline since January 2023, the company’s big green plans have not been hurt. This was the time when American short-seller Hindenburg Research had made serious allegations of fraud against the Adani Group. After this, there was a huge fall in the shares of Adani Group companies. Gautam Adani’s net worth also suffered a lot.
