Government company announced share split with dividend
Bharat Dynamics Ltd has said after its board meeting that the company has declared interim dividend for its shareholders. Besides, the board of the company has also approved the stock split. The company has said in its exchange filing that it has declared an interim dividend of Rs 8.85 per share to the shareholders. According to the company’s filing, April 2, 2024 has been set as the record date of dividend for the financial year 2023-24. The payment of interim dividend will be completed on or before April 18, 2024.
Share split approved
The board of Bharat Dynamics has approved the share split. The board has approved the division of 1 share into 2 shares. The company said that the record date of the stock split will be announced after getting approval from the shareholders for the stock split through post ballot electronic voting process.
The company said that post ballot notices and e-voting instructions will be sent to those shareholders who hold shares till the cut-off date of March 22, 2024. Apart from this, the company has made a big announcement saying that G. Gayatri Prasad has been appointed as CFO. Presently he is the General Manager (Finance) of the company.
Stock performance
A spectacular rise was seen in the company’s shares today which closed at Rs 1,660 with a rise of 2.50 percent. The 52 week high of the share is Rs 1,984.80. The stock has shown a rise of 81.90 percent in the last one year.
