Five industrial parks will be built near Noida International Airport, government started work
The work of Noida’s first international airport is going on at a fast pace. According to the information, the first flight from this much-awaited Noida airport is expected to fly by the end of 2024. The airport to be built in Jewar region will initially serve 65 lakh passengers every year. This airport will be equipped with many modern facilities. In view of this, many big projects are ready to come up in the surrounding areas. In this sequence, the Development Authority (YEIDA) has planned to set up five industrial parks near Noida International Airport. These five parks are being constructed in Jewar area.
Five industrial parks will be built in Sector 10
According to a report by Moneycontrol, these five industrial parks will be established in YEIDA, Sector 10. For this the authority will need a total of 600 acres of land. These industrial parks will be established along the Yamuna Expressway, which connects Greater Noida with other major cities of Uttar Pradesh like Aligarh, Mathura and Agra. Due to connectivity with big cities, these industries will get a lot of help in expanding their business.
Will become a business hotspot
Upon completion of Noida International Airport, YEIDA plans to make the location a major industrial hotspot. There will be an opportunity to establish big companies and manufacturing units here. According to a senior official associated with the development of this industrial park, the list of projects includes “an electric vehicle park, plastic processing park, footwear park, handicraft park and a transport hub”. Talking about this project, the official told Moneycontrol that about 600 acres of agricultural land will be required to develop these industrial parks in Sector 10. For this, the state government of Uttar Pradesh has already instructed the Gautam Buddha Nagar administration to start the process of land acquisition.
While telling Moneycontrol, the officer also claimed that the Uttar Pradesh government had sent a notification to the Gautam Buddha Nagar administration regarding the land acquisition process on February 4 this year. For this, Gautam Buddha University was entrusted with the responsibility of evaluating the social impact of the acquisition, for which a report has also been prepared. Further action will start on the basis of this report.
Preparations for land acquisition
Regarding this news of setting up the Industrial Park, another official also claimed that suggestions from the general public for the proposed 600 acres of land were invited under Section 15 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. More objections will also be sought. Suggestions will be sought from the public on the instructions of the state government. The official told Moneycontrol that as soon as we get the land, we will start allotment for the industrial park after developing the necessary facilities. We hope that this process will be completed in 2024 itself.
