The company is planning to impose this charge on new X users. At present, no information has been given by X regarding how much will be charged for this and when will it be charged. According to X-News, a platform that discusses X-related issues, the company has tested and implemented this policy in New Zealand and the Philippines in October last year. Its annual charge was kept at one dollar.
Musk said – the only way to stop the attack of bots
Musk wrote in his post, ‘The only way to stop the continuous attack of bots is for the company to charge a small fee to give writing access to new users. “Existing artificial intelligence and troll farms easily pass the ‘are you a bot’ access test.”
