BHEL gets a big order of Rs 3,500 crore from Adani Power
Government company BHEL has received an order worth Rs 3,500 crore from Adani Power Limited to set up a thermal power plant in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. BHEL said in a filing to the stock exchange, “The company has signed the contract agreement on June 5, for the supply and installation of equipment (boilers, turbines, generators) for two power projects of 800-800 MW based on critical technology. And includes supervision of operations.” The company said the order is worth more than Rs 3,500 crore. Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be levied separately. BHEL said the boilers and turbine generators will be manufactured at its factories in Trichy and Haridwar.
Mirzapur Thermal Energy becomes unit of Adani Power
Adani Group company Adani Power on Wednesday said Mirzapur Thermal Energy UP Pvt Ltd has become its entity after allocating 99.8 per cent of its equity to it. “The company has been allotted 50,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each on preferential basis by Mirzapur Thermal Energy U.P. Private Limited (MTEUPL) on preferential basis, resulting in 99.8 per cent equity stake in MTEUPL,” the company said in a filing to BSE. Has been. “As a result, MTEUPL has become a subsidiary of the company.”
Commercial activities not started
MTEUPL has not yet started commercial activities and will be involved in infrastructure development activities. This entity is an associated party of Adani Power. Prior to the allotment of equity shares of MTEUPL to the Company, MTEUPL was a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Infra (India) Limited (AIIL).
Tremendous jump in shares of Adani Group
There was a huge jump in the shares of the portfolio of Adani Group companies on Wednesday. It was led by Adani Green Energy and Adani Ports. The stock market bounced on Wednesday after Tuesday’s fall. Nine of Adani’s 10 listed companies recorded gains, with Adani Green Energy being the top gainer with 11.01 per cent and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone with 8.59 per cent. Ambuja Cements gained 7.47 percent and major Adani Enterprises gained 6.02 percent. On the other hand, shares of ACC rose by 5.20 percent, NDTV by 3.26 percent and Adani Total Gas rose by 2.67 percent. Adani Wilmar shares rose 0.77 percent and Adani Power rose 0.32 percent.
