Adani Group has put forward its big plan regarding energy transition. The group plans to invest $100 billion over the next decade in energy transition projects and increasing manufacturing capacity. Under this, the group will gain the ability to manufacture all the important components required for green energy. Group Chairman Gautam Adani has given this information on Wednesday. Energy transition means changing the world’s energy supply from conventional energy sources to green energy and renewable energy. For this, both governments and private sector are focusing on increasing renewable energy capacity. Gautam Adani talked about his plan in an event organized by CRISIL.
The Group is currently working on several green energy projects, including setting up a solar park and wind energy farm, construction of an electrolyzer for green hydrogen, construction of a wind power turbine and the necessary facility for the manufacture of solar panels. Is. Gautam Adani said that the group will invest more in these. While putting forward expectations about the entire economy, Gautam Adani said that India will soon start adding one trillion dollars to its GDP every 12 to 18 months and at this pace the economy will become a 30 trillion dollar economy by 2050.
Gautam Adani expressed hope that the total market cap of the country can increase to 40 trillion dollars by the year 2050. This means that in the next 26 years, 35 trillion dollars will be added to the market cap of India’s stock market. At present, the total market value of India’s stock market is just above 5 trillion dollars. He said that it is true that every country has its own challenges, but it is also true that India’s real growth is yet to come.
Adani Group’s current aim is to produce the cheapest green hydrogen which will prove helpful for many other sectors. According to Gautam Adani, to achieve this goal, he has already established the world’s largest single site renewable park in Kutch. This site alone will produce 30 GW of power in the coming time, due to which the total power generation capacity of the group will increase to 50 GW by the year 2030.
