Vodafone Idea bought spectrum worth Rs 3510 crore, Reliance Jio also bought

In the spectrum auction that ended on June 26, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio together purchased spectrum worth Rs 4500 crore. The government has given this information. The government has earned a total income of more than Rs 11 thousand crore in the auction completed today. At the same time, 141 MHz spectrum has been sold in the auction. According to the data, Vodafone Idea made the maximum purchase.

Vodafone Idea bought a total of 30 MHz spectrum in the auction, the value of this spectrum was Rs 3510.4 crore. These purchased spectrums are in low and mid band i.e. 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2500 MHz. According to the information given by Vodafone, these purchases have been made for 11 circles. According to the company, along with renewing 900 MHz spectrum in UP West and West Bengal circles, 900 MHz spectrum has been increased in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP East and Kolkata. The company said that this will help them in allocating more spectrum for 4G services and this will further improve 4G services.

Reliance Jio has also purchased spectrum in the auction. Reliance Jio has purchased 14.4 MHz spectrum worth Rs 973.62 crore. Jio has made this purchase in the 1800 MHz band.
