Germany’s Beumer Group will set up a manufacturing plant in Jhajjar, Haryana, investment worth billions
You must be aware that Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Group is developing Integrated Greenfield Smart City – Model Economic Township (MET) in Jhajjar, Haryana. Germany’s Beumer Group will set up a manufacturing plant in this township. There will be an investment of about two billion rupees in this. Model Economic Township (MET) Limited is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited. More than 570 companies from 10 countries are working in Met City. Bummar India is the first German company to come here.
What does Beumer Group do?
Beumer Group is an international manufacturer of material handling solutions. It is a global leader in manufacturing intralogistics systems such as conveying, loading, pelletizing, packaging, sorting and distribution. It plans to invest over Rs 2 billion in this state-of-the-art new facility. Once the plant becomes operational, more than 750 people are expected to get employment here. Beumer’s plant will also benefit nearby small businesses. Senior representatives of Baumer Group and Met City participated in the foundation stone laying and foundation stone laying ceremony. The plant is planned to be commissioned by September 2025.
