He said that on the advice of the conciliation officer, representatives of the airline management agreed to postpone the investigation process related to the charge sheet. AIXEU, representing a section of the airline’s crew, had filed a complaint with the labor department last year. This union is affiliated to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS).
charge sheets will be postponed
BMS All India Secretary Girish Chandra Arya said that it has been decided that the charge sheets will be kept in abeyance and the investigation process will not be taken forward till the conciliation proceedings are underway. Arya, who attended Tuesday’s meeting, said that while the conciliation proceedings are going on, the airline’s management should not take any coercive action. There was no immediate comment from Air India Express about Tuesday’s reconciliation meeting. The next reconciliation meeting will be held on August 8.
