Nita Ambani unanimously re-elected as member of ‘International Olympic Committee’

The International Olympic Committee has once again expressed its confidence in Nita Ambani. She has been unanimously re-elected as a member of the IOC. A total of 93 voters cast their vote and all 93 votes were in favor of Nita Ambani i.e. 100 percent. Nita Ambani was elected IOC member for the first time in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016. She is the founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation.

On her re-election, Nita Ambani said, “I am deeply honored to be re-elected as a Member of the International Olympic Committee. I would like to thank President Bach and all my colleagues at the IOC for their trust and confidence in me. This re-election is not only a personal milestone for me, but also shows India’s growing influence in the global sports arena. I want to share this moment of joy and pride with every Indian and look forward to strengthening the Olympic movement in India and around the world.”

Let us tell you that under the leadership of Nita Ambani, India got the hosting of the annual meeting of IOC after a wait of 40 years. It was successfully organized in the year 2023 at Jio World Center in Mumbai. For the first time, India House has been built in the Olympics under the leadership of Nita Ambani. Which is like a home away from India for the Indian players, supporters and spectators at the Paris Olympics.
