Complete preparations have been made to soon make a hub of electronic items near the Jewar Airport being built in Noida. Very soon a hub for electronic items will be ready near the airport. Many companies from India and abroad will invest in this. During his US tour, PM Modi has finalized a deal with America to build the world’s first semiconductor fabrication plant in Noida, UP.
Under an unprecedented agreement with the US, India is going to get its first national security semiconductor fabrication plant, which will supply chips to the US armed forces, its allied forces and the Indian defense forces. This fabrication plant will be set up in India in 2025 and will be named Shakti.
Deal made with America
In the joint factsheet released after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with President Joe Biden in Delaware, the first paragraph of the section outlining technology partnerships for the future said Biden and Modi “appreciated a significant arrangement to establish a new semiconductor fabrication plant focused on advanced sensing, communications, and power electronics for national security, next-generation telecommunications, and green energy applications.”
