Finding a job in India has become easier! Elon Musk’s X brings a new feature, LinkedIn will compete

Elon Musk has made changes to his microblogging platform X. Recently, the company launched a new job search feature, allowing users to search for jobs on X like LinkedIn. This new feature comes after the introduction of the job hiring feature last year, where recruiters and companies can show their job listings. Initially launched in beta version, the job search feature is now available to all users. Let’s know about this feature of X in detail.

Musk has implemented many changes in X since acquiring the platform in 2022. Features like video calling, long video sharing, long posts, editing options and live updates have been included which are found on other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. With the introduction of the job search feature, X is attracting LinkedIn users to its platform. Now it will gradually be known how much this feature is liked on X.

The hiring feature of X is generally designed for organizations that are verified on the platform. This feature has been beta tested earlier. This feature makes it easier for both companies and candidates to find the right job opportunities for them. The job search function will use the X-Hiring database. When companies post job openings, users will see these listings in their search results. An application tracking system (ATS) is included to supply hiring businesses with candidate data via an XML feed.

The Jobs feature will be free for users on X, but companies will have to pay a monthly charge of US$1,000 (approximately Rs 82,000) to access X-Hiring. To search for jobs, users can simply click on the Jobs option within the X app or website and then use keywords to find the right option.
