This company will invest Rs 11,000 crore in Karnataka, will create 3,000 jobs
Hero Future Energies Private Limited (HFEPL) has signed an MoU with the Government of Karnataka on November 30. The company will invest Rs 11,000 crore to set up projects in renewable energy, green hydrogen and its derivatives in Karnataka. HFEPL’s proposed projects in Karnataka will involve a total investment of Rs 11,000 crore over 2-3 years from 2025-26.
3,000 jobs expected to be created
These initiatives are expected to create around 3,000 jobs in Karnataka. “At Hero Future Energies, we believe that unprecedented environmental challenges require bold and decisive steps towards next-generation energy. With a 6+ GW renewable energy portfolio, we are expanding our decarbonisation efforts beyond the grid into difficult industries like transportation and heavy engineering manufacturing,” HFEPL said during the signing of the MOU.
The MoU was formalised during the London roadshow of the Invest Karnataka 2025 meet. It underlines Karnataka’s commitment to attract global investments and promote technological advancements. The initiative is a key pillar of the state’s comprehensive preparations for the global investor meet, Invest Karnataka 2025, which aims to create a competitive and digitally advanced industrial ecosystem.
