Yes, the country’s well-known app-based ride provider company Uber has started a new service called Uber Shikara, through which tourists will be able to book Shikara rides on Dal Lake in advance. The aim of this service is to improve the travel experience during the holiday season without any charge. You will be able to book Shikara ride 15 days in advance
Users can book Shikara rides 15 days in advance or 12 hours in advance through Uber Shikara. The special thing is that the entire payment for this service will be given directly to the Shikara drivers. During this time, customers can book the ride for one hour, which will have the facility to seat up to 4 passengers at a time. Travel insurance has also been included in this service to provide more convenience to the customers. Interested passengers can easily reserve their ride through the app, so that they can enjoy the beauty of Dal Lake without any hassle.
How to book Shikara ride with Uber
-To book a Shikara ride through the Uber app, first you have to update the app and then click on the new service icon and open it.
-Now users have to select Shikara Ghat No. 16 as the pickup point and after selecting the drop point, click on Uber Shikara.
-Now select the time and date, in which only 10 am to 5 pm can be selected.
Finally, you have to click on the ‘Book’ option and this will complete the booking.
