China gave a shock to Elon Musk’s Starlink! Tested satellite internet with 10 times faster speed

China is surprising the world with one feat after another. The country has created an artificial sun on which it is continuously experimenting. Recently, China has created a stir in the world of AI by launching the DeepSeek AI model. Now China has done another feat in the field of internet. China has also surpassed Elon Musk’s company Starlink in terms of satellite internet. China has reportedly successfully tested satellite internet with 10 times faster speed through Starlink. This can be a cause of great concern for Elon Musk.

China has achieved a speed of more than 100Gbps in the world of satellite internet. Chang Guang Satellite Technology Company has done this feat. It is a commercial satellite company of China which has tested 100Gbps speed. That is, the company can do high resolution space-to-ground laser transmission at a speed of 100Gbps. The Chinese satellite firm has claimed that it has broken its own record. It has achieved 10 times more speed than its previous record. The company has tested it with the help of Jilin-1 constellation satellite.

According to the report, this success of China clearly indicates that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s company Starlink has been overtaken by the Chinese company in the race of 6G. Elon Musk’s company has deployed its 5500 satellites under Starlink satellite internet service. The company aims to increase their number to 42000. But the surprising thing is that China has achieved this amazing speed by leaving only 80 satellites in space. Its satellites have been installed at a distance of 535km above the earth. Whereas Starlink’s satellites have been installed in orbit at a distance of 550km.

However, Starlink has not officially announced the introduction of 6G. But Wang Hanghang, head of laser communication ground station technology in a Chinese company, has claimed that his company has overtaken Elon Musk’s company in the race to develop 6G technology. Having 100Gbps speed means that users will be able to download 10 high definition movies in full length in just 1 second. This in itself is a revolutionary internet speed that has been achieved by China.
