Cars arriving at Noida Airport will not face any problem of CNG, agreement has been made to open two stations
An international airport is being built in Jewar, Noida, near Delhi, from which flights are likely to start operating in the next few months. Meanwhile, arrangements for CNG are also going to be made for cars going to the airport. Noida International Airport has joined hands with Indraprastha Gas Limited for this. This partnership has been done to bring CNG facility at the airport. IGL will build two CNG stations at the airport. One of these stations will be on the west side of the airport while the other will be on the airside. Passengers, employees and other people will be able to use these stations.
IGL will also build a city gas distribution network at Noida Airport. This will make it easier to deliver gas to CNG stations. IGL will also lay a pipeline to supply piped natural gas (PNG). This PNG will be used in the airport’s restaurants, lounges and kitchens. Noida International Airport CEO Christoph Schnellmann said that our partnership with IGL is another step towards building a future-ready and sustainable airport. By adding CNG facilities, we are providing clean fuel options to airport users. We are also supporting the widespread shift towards green mobility in the region.
