Elon Musk’s xAI has finally introduced its Grok 3 AI model. Musk claims that Grok 3 is the smartest AI on earth and it outperforms ChatGPT on several benchmarks. After looking at the benchmarks, it seems that Grok 3 is the most powerful AI model. Grok 3 is trained on a large cluster of 200K GPUs, which uses about 10 times more computing power than Grok 2. For benchmarks, Grok 3 beats traditional language models GPT-4o, Cloud 3.5 Sonnet, Gemini 2.0 Pro and DeepSeek V3. Grok 3 scores 52 percent in AIME 2024, Grok 3 achieves 75 percent in GPQA Science and Grok 3 scores 57 percent in LiveCodeBench.
Grok 3’s capacity is based on the Colossus supercomputer which uses 100,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs to provide 200 million GPU-hours for training. This huge computational power helps Grok 3 process large datasets quickly and accurately, setting a new standard in AI performance.
Starting today, Grok 3 is available to Premium Plus customers on the X platform and users can get new features on AI interaction. The advanced features and new design of the chatbot promise to transform human understanding and engagement with artificial intelligence. Apart from this, the company has also introduced a new website named Grok.com, for which SuperGrok subscription has also been rolled out.
