After Airtel, now Jio has joined hands with Starlink, superfast internet will be available from satellite

Reliance Jio has joined hands with Elon Musk’s satellite internet provider Starlink. Both the companies have signed a deal to provide satellite internet in India under the partnership. The interesting thing is that just a day before this, India’s second largest telecom company Airtel also announced a deal with SpaceX.

Reliance Jio users may soon get the gift of satellite internet connectivity. Jio has signed a deal with SpaceX to provide satellite internet. The company has also announced this from its official handle on X. Reliance Jio will help Starlink with its devices, hardware and installation. Jio will provide these services through its retail outlets and online stores. The company plans to make Starlink equipment available at its physical stores as well. Also, customer service installation and activation can also be done through them.

Due to this partnership of Jio, now Reliance Jio is on its way to becoming the world’s largest mobile operator in terms of data traffic. With this, the addition of Starlink’s name to the company’s name can benefit it in many ways. Together, both companies will provide reliable broadband service in the country, which will also include remote areas of India. These will be areas where it is almost impossible to provide mobile internet connection. But with the help of satellite internet, this task will become very easy.

Starlink will complement JioAirFiber and JioFiber by providing fast and affordable internet even in the most challenging places. Jio and SpaceX are also exploring other areas of this partnership so that companies can use their respective infrastructure to increase India’s digital ecosystem. However, this work may take time. Although the deal has been done between the two companies, SpaceX will still have to get approval from many other authorities of India. These services will be able to start in the country only after getting all the approvals.
