Infosys has released vacancies, great opportunity for tech employees with more than 40 skill sets
Well-known software company Infosys is looking to hire tech employees with more than 40 skills. The company wants to recruit experienced people for several positions. The company is looking for professionals with at least two years of experience in several sectors including cloud computing, cyber security, Java Python, dotnet, Android / iOS development and automation testing. Let’s know about it in detail.
Infosys had also released similar vacancies in February and March last year. However, during that time there were walk-in vacancies at centers in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. The company has sent an internal communication about these vacancies, allowing candidates to specify the location of the interview and the city they want to work in if selected. Less than three years ago, the software company ran a virtual recruitment drive in Bengaluru, when the city was recovering from the Kovid 19 pandemic. However, Infosys did not give any answer on how many people it is planning to hire.
Sources revealed that these vacancies are part of the company’s annual lateral hiring program. Infosys had earlier said that it is planning to hire 20 thousand freshers in the next financial year, though it did not disclose the difference between freshers and lateral hiring. The Bengaluru-headquartered software company has about 323,000 employees on its roster.
The hiring campaign will help the company fill vacancies due to shortage of workers and also fill new roles coming up in ongoing and new projects. Sources said the company also has smaller projects for which it needs manpower. The special hiring campaign comes soon after issuing about 600 placement letters to students in engineering colleges in and around Karnataka’s Dharwad district last month. The company wants to increase its workforce by hiring talented youth from nearby colleges.
