Guillaume Faury, CEO of plane manufacturer Airbus, said that its annual supply of parts and services from India will increase significantly and will reach two billion US dollars before 2030. Airbus currently receives parts and services worth 1.4 billion US dollars from India every year. India is one of the fastest growing civil aviation markets in the world. Describing India as one of the most important markets for Airbus from the development point of view, Faury said that the challenge for aircraft manufacturing is to keep pace with the development of the aviation industry in India.

These include orders for 50 A350s from Air India and 30 from IndiGo. Currently, around 700 Airbus aircraft are in operation in India. Airbus CEO said while talking to Indian journalists on the occasion of Airbus Summit 2025 in Toulouse on Tuesday, “We are expanding the supply base, we are buying 1.2 to 1.3 billion US dollars (value of parts and services) from India today. This will reach about two billion US dollars before 2030. “Airbus has a significant presence in India

Airbus has a significant presence in India. According to information on its website, it has more than 3,600 employees in its various plants and generates more than 15,000 jobs through its supply chain. Faury said, “I see that extreme competition and business growth is based on very sophisticated systems. These can be reworked and further optimized in India and manufactured in India itself. This is what we are doing with Dynamatic, Tata and Mahindra.”
