BHIM 3.0 Features

BHIM 3.0 provides users with tools to easily track, monitor and separate expenses. The app now includes a Split Expense feature, allowing users to split the bill among friends and family for activities like food, rent or shopping. Apart from this, the new Family Mode helps users to include family members, track expenses made together and assign payments, giving a complete picture of household expenses.

The app also features a Spend Analytics dashboard that provides a comprehensive view of monthly spends. Transactions are automatically categorized, allowing users to gain insight into spending patterns and manage budgets without external tools.

BHIM 3.0 supports over 15 Indian languages to cater to a diverse user base, making digital payments more accessible. The app can work seamlessly even in areas with low or unstable internet connectivity, allowing for smoother transactions. Security is enhanced with improved protocols. The Action Needed Assistant feature reminds users about pending bills, prompts UPI Lite activation for faster transactions, and alerts when Lite balance is low.

Special feature for merchants

In the new update, merchants will now benefit from BHIM Vega which is an integrated in-app payment method that allows instant transactions without switching between platforms. This feature gives more convenience to customers and helps in running the business better.
