Motorola is preparing to launch laptops in India soon, will be sold through Flipkart
Motorola, one of the big companies making devices, has planned to increase its product portfolio in the country. This company, which sells smartphones in India, will soon launch laptops as well. This will increase the competition for major companies in this market like Apple, HP and Dell.
A banner on the app of e-commerce site Flipkart has indicated the launch of Motorola’s laptop soon. The tagline of this banner is ‘A New World of Laptops. Unveiling Soon.’ It also has Motorola’s logo. However, the company has not confirmed the model, price range and launch date of its laptops. Motorola’s entry in the laptop segment will increase the competition for the existing companies in this market. Laptops are also included in the portfolio of big smartphone companies like Apple, Samsung and Infinix. Motorola’s parent company Lenovo has a large range of laptops.
More information about Motorola’s laptops can be found in the coming weeks. Earlier this month, Motorola launched the Edge 60 Fusion in India. It will replace the Edge 50 Fusion introduced last year. It has MediaTek Dimensity 7400 as a processor. Its triple rear camera unit has a 50-megapixel primary camera.
The base variant of this smartphone with 8 GB + 256 GB is priced at Rs 22,999 and 12 GB + 256 GB is priced at Rs 24,999. It will be sold through e-commerce site Flipkart and the company’s website from April 9. It has been made available in Pantone Amazonite, Pantone Slipstream and Pantone Zephyr colors. It has a 6.7-inch 1.5K (1,220 x 2,712 pixels) curved pOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 4,500 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection has been provided for its display. It has SGS Low Blue Light with Pantone Validated True Colour certification. This smartphone has MediaTek Dimensity 7400 as a processor. Its storage can be expanded up to 1 TB via a microSD card. It runs on Hello UI based on Android 15. For this, three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates will be available.
