Kanpur students gave digital eyes to these children by learning programming from YouTube

At the same time, instant messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram have kept their separate status. It is being used in people’s personal life to professional life. Its importance increased further during the Corona period. But the blind people were somewhere untouched by them. In view of this, the students of Jai Narayan Vidya Mandir of Kanpur have prepared such a software through which they will be able to easily chat through the instant messaging app.

The software has been prepared by the students of class XII, it works like this

Based on artificial intelligence, this software has been created by Sridhar Anand Tiwari and Priyanshu Upadhyay, the students of class XII. He named it Assistive Neural Network for Groping Hamsters (ANGH). Priyanshu told that he along with friend Sridhar has prepared ANGH. It will reduce the distance between common people and visually impaired people. He told that this software has been prepared through Python programming language. It feeds about 60 sign languages. For this, you have to indicate the sign language in front of the camera. It will interpret it in the text message and will automatically open the WhatsApp app and send the message. At the same time, when the reply comes from the sender, the text will be interpreted in the voice message.

Learning programming from YouTube for social purpose

Sridhar told that he was interested in computer since childhood. He used to watch videos of programming on YouTube. Seeing the video with him, friend Priyanshu also got interested in this. Both learned Python through YouTube and developed the ANGH software. He told that the purpose behind preparing this software is only social service. He says that he will make available his technology free of cost to NGOs and aid groups. Due to which more and more people can use it, they will not even patent it.
