2 big changes in WhatsApp’s Disappearing feature, now these options will be available

WhastApp has added two new things to improve the Disappearing feature for its users. In this instant messaging service owned by Facebook, users will now be able to control this feature better than before and users are also getting the facility to set rules for all new chats.

With this new change, now users will be able to use WhatsApp’s Disappearing Messages more and better. Read below to know about the changes in it.

This change happened in the Disappearing feature of WhatsApp

The first change in this feature of WhatsApp is that now users are getting a new option for timer in it. This means that you can now set a timer for it as well. Earlier you only had the option to enable and disable this feature. On turning on this feature, the chat used to automatically disappear after 7 days, but now you will also be able to choose the time for it.

A reporter has spotted that WhatsApp is now customizing this 7-day timer for those who need a specific time. Now users can select the option of 24 hours, 7 days and 90 days. According to the option selected by the user, the message and content will be automatically deleted within that number of days.

This change is also useful

Another improvement coming in the WhatsApp beta is a default timer setting in the WhatsApp privacy settings. With the help of this, now disappearing message will be enabled for all new chats. This means that they will not have to go to the chat settings again and again and turn on the setting manually for all new chats. If they have selected the 90 days option, the Disappearing Message setting will be enabled automatically for all new chats.

According to the leaker, testing of this feature is currently going on for the latest WhatsApp Beta version of iOS and WhatsApp Business. Android users who are on the latest beta version of WhatsApp are currently unable to use this feature. However, if the report is to be believed, it will soon support all devices.
