New Delhi: Ashneer Grover, the former founder and managing director of BharatPe, on Thursday took a jibe at the board over the company’s financial results, saying he will now miss his grandmother as the market is the ultimate test and truth.

Ashneer Grover tweeted, ‘I just learned that BharatPe has ended the first quarter of its decline and maximum economic loss under the able leadership of Rajnish Kumar and Suhail Sameer. Key snatching and wielding are two different skills. Now Nani will be missed. The market is the ultimate test and truth.
Company sacked from the post of co-founder
BharatPe has accused Ashneer and his wife Madhuri of misusing the company’s money. The company says that Ashneer and his wife used the company’s money to meet the expenses of their lavish lifestyle. The company had removed him from all other posts including co-founder.
Rs 4,000 crore was sought from BharatPe investors
Earlier, Ashneer Grover had demanded Rs 4,000 crore from the investors of BharatPe. He had said that if they wanted to kick him out of the company, he would have to pay Rs 4,000 crore to buy his stake. Some time ago, Grover had said that he would leave the company only if an investor would buy his 9.5 percent stake in the company at a valuation of $ 6 billion.
