The details of Twitter Edit Button feature have come to the fore, the history of Tweets will not be deleted

Twitter has been in the news for some time now. Apart from Elon Musk’s offer, it is also in discussion due to the upcoming Edit Button feature of the microblogging platform. The company has recently confirmed that the edit button feature is going to be added for Twitter soon. This feature is currently rolled out for select beta users and developers.

Creator and developer Jane Manchun Wong has given new information about the Edit Button feature by tweeting. According to Wong’s tweet, this feature of Twitter will be “immutable”, which will digitally save the original copy tweeted by users. Apart from the original tweets of the users, it will also save the conversations done in that thread. As soon as the user edits a tweet, this feature will copy the text of the tweet.

In this way you will be able to use Twitter Edit Button feature

The Twitter Edit Button isn’t currently available for testing, but some developers have early access to it, who are sharing screenshots of the upcoming feature online. To use this feature, users will get three dots near the tweet. The user has to click on three dots to edit any tweet i.e. to make changes in it. After this, users will be able to change the text message of the tweet.

Twitter has been working on this feature for the past several months. This feature will be first brought to Twitter Blue users. After this this edit button feature can be rolled out for other users as well. The company had confirmed about the upcoming Edit Button feature by tweeting on 6 April. Earlier, Tesla CEO Elon Musk created a poll on April 5 about adding the edit button feature to Twitter.
