Country’s veteran industrialist Ratan Tata on Tuesday announced to invest in Good Fellows, a startup started with the aim of serving senior citizens. Although the amount of Ratan Tata is investing in this project, it has not been told at the moment.
Let us tell you that after retiring from the Tata group, Ratan Tata is taking a lot of interest in helping startups. Let us tell you that the latest investment company of Tata has been founded by Shantanu Naidu. Shantanu, 25, is working as General Manager in Tata’s office, he has studied at Cornell University. He has been working as an associate of Ratan Tata since 2018.
Significantly, 84-year-old Ratan Tata appreciated Naidu’s idea, saying that till you are really old, no one likes to grow old. Tata said about Shantanu that finding a good-natured partner is also a challenge.
Naidu has described Tata as a boss, a mentor and a friend. The new startup hires young graduates to serve as partners to senior citizen clients. The company has been working with 20 elderly people for the past six months in its beta phase in the country’s financial capital Mumbai. In future, the company wants to offer its services in Pune, Chennai and Bangalore as well.
