Jio will bring Virtual PC and Air Fiber: Jio Cloud PC will reduce the cost of expensive laptops and desktops, Air Fiber to broadband-like speed

During the 45th AGM, Reliance has launched Jio Cloud PC. This is Virtual PC hosted in the cloud using Jio True 5G. The device is claimed to power laptops in every business and home at affordable rates.

In the AGM, the company also told about its new service Jio AirFiber. Jio Air Fiber is very similar to Jio Fi but it will get better internet speed. On the other hand Jio Cloud PC will reduce your cost of buying expensive laptops and desktops. Let’s talk in detail about these two devices…

Jio Air Fiber

During the AGM, Reliance Jio has introduced a wireless single-device solution called Air Fibre, which the company says will be able to enjoy broadband speeds at home without the need for a lot of wires. It will be an end-to-end broadband solution that will be as easy as setting up a hotspot.

Jio Cloud Pc

Cloud PCs are like PCs without any major hardware requirements. Simply put, it is a Virtual PC. This feature will enable faster 5G network speed users to stream all computations from remote server locations.

It requires a user to pay only up to the usage limit, without any upfront investment and the hassle of upgrading frequently. That is, not one but many PCs can be used at very affordable rates.

No information about plans at the moment

Jio also showed its capability. In this, live sports programs can be watched on the device without any lag. Apart from this, the company has also launched Cloud PC. The company has called this thin device Virtual PC. However, complete information about its function is not yet available.

Apart from this, the company has not yet given information about Jio 5G plans. There is no statement from the company about the price of Jio Air Fiber yet. The company has said that by December 2023, it will bring 5G connectivity to all cities of India.
