Daughter Mansi Tata will enhance her father’s legacy, takes charge of Toyota Kirloskar Motor.

New Delhi: After the death of Vikram Kirloskar, his daughter Mansi Tata has taken over the reins of the company. The command of the chairperson of Toyota Kirloskar Motor has now been handed over to Mansi Tata. It was announced on Thursday by Toyota Kirloskar Motor, according to which now Mansi Tata will be the new Vice Chairperson of the company with immediate effect. Apart from Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Mansi will also be the Vice Chairperson of Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts. The board decided to hand over the command of the company to him.


Who is Mansi Tata


Mansi Tata is the only daughter of Vikram Kirloskar. After his sudden death, now Mansi has been handed over the command of the company. She was married in the year 2019 to Neville Tata, son of Ratan Tata’s half-brother Noel Tata. Therefore, she is the daughter-in-law of Ratan Tata. Mansi and her family lead a very simple life. Mansi is the fifth generation scion of the Kirloskar family and is carrying forward the family legacy. Mansi, who returned from America after studying design from Rhode Island School, is fond of arts, but now she is taking command of the company.


Father left on November 29


The credit for bringing Toyota Motor to India goes to Vikram Kirloskar. He took his company to great heights. He died of a sudden heart attack on 29 November. Vikram Kirloskar brought the Japanese car making company to India in 1997 by partnering with Toyota. Now after him Mansi is in command of Toyota Kirloskar Motor. Mansi, who learned the tricks of business from her father, will take this legacy forward. Successful launch of EV cars in India is their target.
