Xiaomi: Resignation of top executives in tech companies continues, now Xiaomi’s Global Vice President left the company.

The phase of resignation of top executives in tech companies around the world continues. Now Manu Kumar Jain, the global vice president of smartphone brand Xiaomi and former head of its Indian branch, has resigned. Jain announced his resignation on Monday after a stint of nearly nine years in the company. Let us tell you that recently Sinead McSweeney, the public policy head of the micro-blogging site Twitter, resigned from the company.


The resignation comes amid the ongoing legal battle between the Enforcement Directorate and Xiaomi over alleged Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) violations by the company. Jain led the launch of Xiaomi in India in 2014. On his resignation, Manu Kumar Jain said in a tweet “Change is the only constant in life! Over the past 9 years, I have been lucky to have found so much love and it has made this goodbye that much harder. Thank you all. He said “The end of a journey also marks the beginning of a new one full of exciting opportunities. Hello to a new adventure!”


Jain further added “After nine years, I am leaving the Xiaomi Group. I believe the time is right, as we have strong leadership teams in place around the world. I wish the best to the Xiaomi teams globally and I hope they achieve even greater success.”


Recently McSweeney has also resigned


About a month ago, Sinead McSweeney, the public policy head of the micro-blogging site Twitter, resigned from the company. Sinead McSweeney resigned amid a series of layoffs at the company. McSweeney’s departure was not previously reported.
