The name of this chatbot is Bard, which is currently released for user feedback. The company may release it to everyone in the coming weeks. Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai himself has confirmed this.
Google’s AI chatbot Bard will be launched soon
Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in a blog post on Monday that the company is launching a conversational AI service called Bard to collect user feedback. After testing, it will have a public release in the coming weeks.
Bard will be equipped with LaMDA
According to the blog post, the experimental conversational AI service Bard is powered by LaMDA (Language Model and Dialog Application). Let us tell you that Lambda is an AI chatbot from Google, which can think like humans. The company introduced it only two years ago. Pichai said the company’s new AI chatbot Bard’s capabilities will be equipped with a combination of the power, intelligence and creativity of the company’s large language model.
The Google CEO said that Bard will draw knowledge based on user feedback and information available on the web. The company is initially rolling out the AI system for testers with a lighter model version of the LaMDA. Work will be done to further improve its AI system of the future.
Will compete with ChatGPT
