Infosys President Mohit Joshi resigns: Tech Mahindra will be the next MD and CEO, will take command from December 20.

Infosys President Mohit Joshi has resigned. He will now be the Managing Director and CEO of Tech Mahindra. He was working in Infosys for the last 22 years. Mohit will be on leave from March 11, 2023 and his last day with the company will be June 09, 2023.

Tech Mahindra will take over from December 20

Currently, CP Gurnani is handling the responsibility of MD and CEO in Tech Mahindra. He has been one of the longest serving CEOs of the Indian IT sector. Mohit Joshi will take over the post after his retirement on December 19. Mohit has worked in ABN Amro, ANZ Grindlays company before Infosys.

At Infosys, Mohit was responsible for software, financial services, health care, life science businesses. Mohit has lived in Asia, America and Europe. He currently lives in London with his wife and two daughters.

Mohit Joshi joined Infosys in the year 2000.

Mohit joined Infosys in the year 2000 and since then has held various positions for the firm. In his previous role, he was leading the Financial Services business in Europe. In 2007, Mohit was appointed as the CEO of Infosys Mexico and was instrumental in setting up the first subsidiary in Latin America.

He is also a Non-Executive Director at Aviva Plc.
