Adani Group’s Brand Custodian Resigns From NDTV: Aman Kumar Singh Resigns As Non-Executive Director Of NDTV.

Adani Group’s brand custodian and head of corporate affairs Aman Kumar Singh has resigned from the board of NDTV. The group has given the reason for this resignation to the busyness of Aman Kumar. However, a corruption case is going on against him in Chhattisgarh.

New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV) said in a stock exchange filing last week that Aman Kumar Singh has resigned as non-executive director of the company, effective April 1.

Aman Kumar left his job and joined Adani Group in the year 2022.

Aman Kumar Singh is a former revenue officer, who was a powerful bureaucrat in the Raman Singh-led BJP government in Chhattisgarh. Also, he was the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Raman Singh. In November 2022, he left the job to become the brand custodian and head of corporate affairs at Adani. At the same time, when Adani Group acquired NDTV, then the group included him in the board of directors.

Adani Group’s second person to resign from NDTV board

Aman Kumar Singh is the second person from the Adani Group to resign from the NDTV board. Earlier on March 9, NDTV had told the stock exchange that Sunil Kumar has resigned from the post of Additional Non-Executive Independent Director of the company.
