Relieving statement of OpenAI boss, AI tools like ChatGPT will not eliminate jobs.

The boss of OpenAI, the maker of the popular AI tool ChatGPT, says his firm’s technology like ChatGPT will not eliminate jobs. He tried to calm the apprehensions of threats regarding artificial intelligence (AI). In recent days, many tech CEOs including Elon Musk have warned about AI. Many have claimed that due to AI tools like ChatGPT, jobs of crores of people will be taken away.

Sam Altman said that AI is going to progress to a point where humans have no work to do or no purpose. Regarding the use of ChatGPT in the media, he said that many media houses are already using it. He said that ChatGPT can be used for story ideas and research.

He took aim at some journalists at the Paris event, saying that the kind of headlines made about the dangers of ChatGPT were not fair. He added that OpenAI is likely to open an office in Europe.

OpenAI started in 2015 with funding from investors like Sam Altman and Elon Musk. In 2018, Elon Musk severed ties with OpenAI. OpenAI and Microsoft have recently partnered.

In the competition of ChatGPT, Google has also introduced its AI tool Bard. Google Bard has been in a lot of discussion recently regarding a chat. In the eyes of Bard AI, CEOs of tech companies look like animals. Bard AI himself has said about Google CEO Sundar Pichai that Pichai looks like a monkey.

When given a picture of a musk ox from Bard AI, it said that it looks like Elon Musk. When Bard was shown the photo of the capuchin monkey, he told that it is very much like Sundar Pichai. The thing to note here is that Google Bard is changing his answers every time, because first he called Elon Musk a musk ox and later a bull.

On the other hand, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt has warned people against the bad effects of artificial intelligence tools. They have said that AI tools like ChatGPT can kill humans or cause them great harm in any other way.
