Jio Wireless: Jio can launch device for high speed wireless 5G internet this week, know details
New Delhi: Telecom business giant Reliance Industries is going to bring jio wireless high speed internet device in India. Reliance Jio has started customer trials of this high speed internet device in several cities where its 5G rollout is complete and the network is stable. Reliance Jio is preparing to bring fixed wireless access device Jio Air Fiber for retail customers.
People associated with Jio say that it can be launched with up to 20% discount as compared to the market rate. The wireless high speed internet device is gearing up to rock the Indian retail market this festive season.
According to information received from sources, Reliance Jio can make a formal announcement about this device on 28 August. After the data top pack, this can prove to be Jio’s first major attempt to earn from 5G.
A person related to this matter said that an announcement about Jio Wireless Device can be made in the upcoming AGM of Reliance. Traditionally, in AGM, Jio has launched new products with big offers and it is expected to be the same this time too.

Reliance Jio has also sent devices to selected users along with its staff for trial preparation for the launch of Wireless High Speed Internet Device. Jio’s FWA device will provide high-speed internet to people using carrier aggregation technique, which creates a data path using different 5G airwaves. For this, Jio had bought 700 MHz, 3300 MHz and 26GHz spectrum in last year’s auction.
Airtel has launched wireless internet device in Mumbai and Delhi, its price has been kept at ₹ 2500 while Airtel is giving the device to customers in ₹ 799 monthly subscription block. Customers can avail Airtel’s high speed internet device starting at ₹7300. Reliance Industries has lagged behind in this matter and it is expected that high speed devices can be given to the customers at an affordable price.
