Toyota halts production at all 14 plants in Japan: Fear of cyber attack,

but company denies Car manufacturing company.Toyota has halted production at all 14 assembly plants in Japan.According to news agency Reuters, a company spokesperson said that work at the assembly plant has been halted due to an ongoing system glitch.

He said parts orders are not being processed due to glitches in the production command system, the reasons for which are being investigated. It is being feared in the media report that this disturbance has come due to cyber attack.

However, a company spokesperson said that at this time we do not believe that cyber attacks are responsible for this. This problem is currently limited to domestic plants only.

These plants make one-third of global production vehicles

According to Reuters, the company first halted production at 12 plants on Tuesday morning, and has stopped work at 2 plants till noon. These plants in Japan make up about a third of Toyota’s global production.

Last year Toyota also had to close the plant

Prior to this, Toyota had to close all plants in the domestic market in February 2022. Then there was a ransomware attack on one of their suppliers. After this it took several days to start the work. Due to this, the company’s output for the month was affected by about 5%.
