YEIDA toy park: India’s big step to beat China in toy industry, production to start in 100-acre toy park

New Delhi: UP is making its mark as a leading state in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Self-reliant India and Make in India mission. In this direction, many projects are being conducted in the state under the guidance of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. The toy park cluster under construction at Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) is also proving to be an important link in this. Foundation stone laying and inauguration programs of industrial units are being organized continuously in this toy park being established in Sector 33. There is a possibility that in the next one year the industrial units to be set up here will also start their production. This means that soon with the help of this toy park, India’s toy market will move forward in the direction of surpassing China and establishing its dominance on the world stage. It is noteworthy that the toy made in India is exported to about 50 countries of the world. After the construction of this toy park, along with more production, more exports will also be ensured.

142 plots were allotted

Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) Chairman Anil Kumar Sagar laid the foundation stone for the construction works of industrial units in the Toy Park being set up in Sector 33 on Saturday itself. A toy park is being constructed by the authority on an area of ​​100 acres in Sector 33. Authority has allotted 142 plots of various categories, out of which check list has been issued to 91 units and lease deed has been completed by 39 units. Today, the foundation stone of factory construction works was laid in this industrial toy park cluster. According to Ajay Agarwal, president of The Toy Association of India, in the next one year the construction work of many factories will be completed and production will start. He said that in the last few years, the import of toys has decreased, while the export has increased. This export is close to 60 percent. This is completely realizing the Prime Minister’s Make in India mission. He has also appealed to the entrepreneurs that everyone should manufacture the best quality toys in this toy park. Today, there is a lot of scope in the toy industry in the country, which everyone should take advantage of.

Infrastructure being prepared keeping convenience and security in mind

Whatever facilities are necessary under the PLI scheme of the Government of India are also being provided by the Authority. On the basis of demand of Toy Association, planning was done in this toy park, which is getting concrete form. Development works in this sector mainly including road, sewerage, electrical lines, water system etc. have been done by the authority. Better facilities for security and transport will be provided to the entrepreneurs. Electricity water road connectivity will be available to this cluster. A flatted factory will also be constructed in the Toy Park cluster so that space can be made available to the support industry of the toy industry.
