Bajaj Finserv Health acquires Vidal Healthcare Services, see details
New Delhi: Bajaj Finserv Health Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv Limited, has acquired entire 100 per cent stake in Vidal Healthcare Services Limited. Bajaj Finserv Health has made this acquisition at an enterprise value of Rs 325 crore. Pune-based Bajaj Finserv Health is the first digital health tech company. The company has a large network.
The company has a network of more than one lakh doctors, 5,500 labs and 2,100 hospitals. It partners with Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. According to a statement issued by the companies, this acquisition is expected to be completed by March at an enterprise value of Rs 325 crore. Upon completion of the transaction, Vidal and its subsidiaries will become wholly owned subsidiaries of Bajaj Health.
The acquisition is expected to help expand Bajaj Health’s capabilities to better meet the hospitalization needs of people, the statement said. According to Devang Modi, Chief Executive Officer, Bajaj Finserv Health, this acquisition enables Bajaj Health to provide people access to OPD, after-care as well as hospitalization facilities.
According to Girish Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, Vidal Health, health technology changes the dynamics of healthcare in India. Told that he is very excited to be a part of Bajaj Finserv. Upon completion of this acquisition, VHC and its subsidiaries will become wholly owned subsidiaries of Bajaj Finserv Health Limited. JM Financial Limited has acted as exclusive financial advisor to Bajaj Finserv Health.
