Jio left Chinese companies behind, became the world’s largest company in this matter

Telecom company Reliance Jio said that it has become the world’s largest company in terms of ‘data traffic’ i.e. consumption, leaving behind Chinese companies. Per capita data consumption increased to 30.3 GB per month i.e. more than one GB per day, the company said in the statement. With this it has become the world’s largest company in terms of data traffic. According to the June quarter data of Reliance JIO, data consumption increased by 32.8 percent to 44 billion gigabytes (GB) as against 33.2 billion GB in the same quarter last year.

Number of customers reached 49 crores

The statement said that the company’s total customer base has reached approximately 49 crore, which includes 13 crore 5G users. With this, if we leave out China, Jio has become the largest company in terms of 5G services. Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash M Ambani said, quality high-coverage, affordable internet is the backbone of Digital India and Jio is proud to contribute to it. Our new ‘Prepaid Plans’ will drive innovation and sustainable growth in the areas of 5G and AI (Artificial Intelligence). With a ‘customer first’ approach, Jio will further strengthen its market leadership position with its superior network and innovative service offerings.

Voice calling also reached record level

Voice calling on the company network reached a record level of 1,420 billion minutes in the June quarter of the current financial year, which is six percent more than the same period last year.
