UAE’s Lulu Group will build India’s largest mall in this city, creating opportunities for 3,000 jobs.

UAE’s Lulu Group is going to build India’s largest mall in Ahmedabad. Lulu Group International has already got the land for this mall. As per ANI report, the mall will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹4,000 crore. MA Yusuf Ali, CMD of Lulu Group International, said construction is expected to begin this year. This group, with a workforce of more than 65,000, is doing business in 42 countries. Its annual turnover is 8 billion dollars.

This mall will be built in 3,50,000 square feet

MA Yusuf Ali, CMD, Lulu Group International, is happy with the UAE-based retailer’s plans to invest in India. Expressing happiness over investing in India, Ali said that he is very happy to provide employment to his fellow citizens (Indians). He further said that the company is getting full support from the Center and ministries. According to the news, CMD said that this is one of the biggest projects inaugurated by us. It is going to be built in approximately 3,50,000 square feet. Also these 3,000 young boys and girls are working here. I am very happy to provide employment to my fellow citizens.

There are malls in so many cities in India.

Ali had said last year that we will build one of the largest shopping malls in Ahmedabad and Chennai. The company has opened its shopping mall in Hyderabad. The group is working on expanding its presence in different states for shopping malls and food processing. Lulu Group currently has malls in six Indian cities – Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Lucknow and Thiruvananthapuram.
