HCL Tech unit appoints Vikrant Chaudhry as senior VP and India head

HCL Software, the enterprise software product unit of HCL Tech, announced the appointment of Vikrant Chaudhry as Vice President and Country Head for India on November 18. Chaudhry will be responsible for HCL Software’s regional business, driving growth and innovation across key sectors including enterprises, BFSI and government sectors.

“Chaudhary will play a key role in driving HCL Software’s commitment to Make in India and become the largest India-based global enterprise software product company,” the company said in a statement. Chaudhry will be based in Delhi NCR.

Over 27 years of leadership experience

HCL Software has over 27 years of leadership experience. The company said that Chaudhary’s expertise in go-to-market (GTM) strategy, team leadership and technology for enterprise and financial services is important for HCL Software’s strategic expansion in India’s growth market.

Chaudhary has previously held leadership roles in top global companies including Salesforce, SAP, Teradata, IBM and several startups. Most recently, he served as the first Chief Growth Officer at CleverTap. Chaudhary also holds a post graduate degree in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai.
