Micromax joins hands with Taiwan’s Phison, will strengthen the AI ecosystem in India!
Micromax has partnered with Phison to form MiPhi, a joint venture aimed at advancing India’s AI and technology ecosystem under the ‘Making AI in India’ vision. MiPhi will provide energy-efficient NAND storage solutions for AI applications with the lowest per-token cost globally. The venture brings together Micromax’s market expertise and Phison’s technical prowess on a single platform to strengthen India’s technology infrastructure and promote cross-industry collaboration. MiPhi plans to establish a dedicated sales network for AI-centric embedded solutions in sectors such as automobiles, IoT and data centers.
Micromax and Phison announced the launch of the MiPhi joint venture together in India through a press release. Micromax is a domestic consumer electronics brand and Phison is a Taiwanese electronics company. The duo’s venture aims to offer energy-efficient NAND storage solutions with the world’s lowest per-token cost for AI applications.
The company says MiPhi will leverage Micromax’s established Indian market presence and Phison’s expertise in NAND storage technology to strengthen technical infrastructure and enable cross-industry collaboration.
MiPhi will provide embedded solutions for automobiles, IoT devices, datacenters, IT hubs and consumer electronics. The company will provide compatible design solutions specifically for AI and security-related applications.
Operating from manufacturing sites in Hyderabad (Telangana), Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) and Noida (Uttar Pradesh), MiPhi aims to scale up India’s production capacity.
