Thanks to Green Stamp Paper, Punjab got more than 5000 investment proposals, 4 lakh people will get jobs

The Green Stamp Paper introduced by Punjab’s Bhagwant Singh Mann government is opening the doors of progress for the people of the state. Punjab is the first state to introduce a stamp paper with a different colour code. With this stamp paper, industrialists are getting all the approvals in just 2 weeks to set up factories in the state. Due to this, a large number of investors are coming to the state. When a large number of new factories and projects are being set up, employment in the state is also increasing rapidly. Punjab has received investments in many sectors from many countries like America, Switzerland, Japan and Germany.

4 lakh people will get employment

Many new industries have been established in the state due to this green stamp paper of the Punjab government. Many major companies of the country have shown interest in investing in the state. An investment of Rs 80,000 crore is expected through more than 5,000 investment proposals in the state. The maximum investment proposals have been received by Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Patiala and Fatehgarh Sahib districts. On completion of these investment proposals for many sectors including real estate, agriculture and food processing, manufacturing, automotive and auto components, about 4,00,000 jobs will be created.

These big investments have come

Tata Steel has invested Rs 2600 crore in the secondary steel sector of Ludhiana. Sanatan Polycot has invested Rs 1600 crore in the man made fiber sector in Fatehgarh Sahib. Nabha Power (L&T) has invested Rs 641 crore in the power sector of Patiala. At the same time, Japan’s Toppan is investing Rs 548 crore in the packaging sector. Apart from this, Ambuja Cement project in Hoshiarpur worth Rs 1400 crore, Ruchira Papers Limited project in Rupnagar worth Rs 1137 crore, Nestle India project in Moga worth Rs 583 crore, Happy Forging project in Ludhiana worth Rs 438 crore, Freudenberg Group project worth Rs 338 crore and Drass Engineering project in Hoshiarpur worth Rs 194 crore are in the state.

What is Green Stamp Paper?

The purpose of Green Stamp Paper is to give quick clearance to industrialists for their projects. The state government says that if an industrialist applies through Green Stamp Paper, he will get all the clearances for industrial projects within 2 weeks. Green Stamp Paper has a green colored stamp paper. On getting this, industrialists get all the necessary approvals. Due to the policies of the Mann government, a strong base of more than one lakh MSME units has been created in Punjab. These include more than 1,057 large and medium units while more than 99,639 micro and small units. This has created about 12 lakh jobs in the state.
