Oppo A73 Revealed With Quad Rear Cameras, a Rebranded Version of Oppo F17
The latest smartphone in the brand’s A-series, Oppo A73 has been unveiled in Tunisia. Oppo launched the phone on its Tunisia website without any official statement. The new Oppo A73 is being considered as a rebranded version of the Oppo F17, which was released in India last month. The pricing detail of the phone is still unclear, but it will be available in two color variants. Notable specifications of the Oppo A73 include a quad rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel main camera and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC processor.

The new Oppo smartphone will be available in two color forms – Navy Blue and Classic Silver. Besides that, no further details regarding OppoA73 launching in other countries have come forth. The price of Oppo A73 hasn’t been revealed yet, however, it is expected to be available for purchase in Tunisia sooner.
The phone seems pretty much similar to the Oppo F17, which was rolled out in India last month starting at Rs. 17,990. The two devices differ in terms of the colors they are available in, with the Oppo F17 being offered in Dynamic Orange along with the other two colors. There is also an 8GB RAM model of the Oppo F17, while the latest Oppo A73 is available only in a 6GB RAM variant.

Like to Oppo F17, the Oppo A73 comes with a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) display, with a refresh rate up to 60Hz. It will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Oppo A73 is a dual-SIM (Nano) that runs on Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 on top. It is supported by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and comes with 128GB of primary storage that’s expandable via microSD card.
Reviewing the optics, Oppo A73 comes with a quad rear camera setup, including a 16-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 lens, and double 2-megapixel depth cameras with f/2.4 apertures. It features a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats.
The phone has a relatively better 4,015mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging. It has an optical fingerprint scanner attached to the rear side. Connectivity options for the Oppo A73 include Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 159.8 x 72.9 x 7.45mm, and weighs 163 grams.
